Pharmacist Inpatient

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our inpatient pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will possess specialized certifications and relevant inpatient experience. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional pharmaceutical care in an acute care setting.

Shift Details

• 7 on, 7 off schedule (Wednesday – Tuesday)
• Night shifts: 3×10-Hour (20:30 – 07:00) or 4×10-Hour (20:30 – 07:00)

Certifications Required

• Chemo/Hazardous Drug Certification
• IV Certification
• Registered Pharmacist (RPh)

Work Experience Required

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in inpatient or acute care pharmacy
• First-time travelers will be considered

Key Responsibilities

The Pharmacist will be responsible for:

• Dispensing medications accurately and safely to inpatient units
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy
• Managing hazardous drugs and chemotherapy protocols
• Providing drug information and counseling to healthcare professionals
• Participating in pharmacy clinical programs
