Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team in a dynamic acute care environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional respiratory care, ensuring adherence to best clinical practices and patient safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assist patients with respiratory conditions
• Perform floor care and participate in emergency response including code blue and rapid response situations
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Epic charting system

Qualifications

• Current Washington State license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
• Ability to float between units as needed
• Availability to work weekends on a rotating basis
• Experience in a short-term acute care setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective critical thinking abilities and decision-making skills

Shift Information

This position is for a night shift, requiring the individual to work three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Block scheduling is utilized, which promotes continuity and effective team dynamics.

Additional Information

• Expected patient care ratios of 1:11
• No on-call requirements for this position
• No parking fees for staff
