Registered Nurse (RN)

Contract Details

This is a 13 or 26-week assignment starting in November. The position is for night shifts with either a 36-hour per week or 48-hour per week schedule. The candidate must be flexible and available to work three weekends within a six-week scheduling period and two out of three winter holidays. Please note that time off around Christmas cannot be approved.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification must be in-hand at the time of submission.
• Dr. Brown’s Infant Driven Feeding Certification is required but can be submitted with certification pending. A fee is associated with this certification.
• A Virginia nursing license may be submitted as pending.

Time Off Policies

Time off is limited to a maximum of 40 hours. Time off cannot be approved during the first two weeks of the assignment.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be expected to provide high-quality patient care, including but not limited to assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing activities. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes is essential.
