Contract Details

This position offers a contract length of either 13 or 26 weeks, with starting dates available in November. Shifts are scheduled for nights, providing flexibility for those seeking evening hours.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification must be current and in-hand at the time of submission.
• Dr. Brown’s Infant Driven Feeding Certification is required, but candidates may submit with the certification pending. Please note that there is a cost associated with this certification.

Scheduling Requirements

During the 6-week scheduling period, candidates must be available to work 3 weekends. Additionally, availability for 2 out of the 3 winter holidays is mandatory. Please be aware that time off around Christmas cannot be approved.

Time Off Policies

• Time off is limited to a maximum of 40 hours.
• Time off requests cannot be approved during the first two weeks of the assignment.

Licensing Information

Candidates may submit their application with a pending Virginia license.
