Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract opportunity. This position is ideal for nursing professionals with a passion for providing quality care in a telemetry unit setting.

Shift Information

• Night Shift: 3 shifts of 12 hours each
• Schedule: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Responsibilities

The Med/Surg Telemetry RN will be responsible for:

• Delivering high-quality nursing care to patients on the telemetry unit.
• Monitoring and interpreting vital signs and telemetry data.
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to create and implement patient care plans.
• Educating patients and their families about health management and recovery processes.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to promote patient safety and care excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
• Possession of an active Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• Current certification in AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
