Cath Lab Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. The incumbent will be responsible for providing quality healthcare in the cath lab environment, assisting in various procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in cath lab procedures, including monitoring cases and transporting patients.
• Provide support during patient workup and recovery phases.
• Stock and maintain departmental supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient care.
• Respond to call requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid certification or licensure to work as a Cath Lab Technologist.
• RCIS Certification or RT degree is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Current BLS certification is necessary.

Desired Skills

• Experience in monitoring and assisting in various cath lab procedures such as catheterizations, pacemaker placements, and vascular interventions.
• Strong ability to work as part of a team and deliver excellent patient care.
• Outgoing personality with effective communication skills.

Work Schedule

This position involves working days with on-call responsibilities, on a 7 days on, 7 days off rotation.

Dress Code

The facility provides scrubs for all staff. Please refrain from wearing casual attire or clothing branded by other facilities.

Patient Demographics

This role serves a diverse patient population, encompassing individuals of all ages.

Supervision

The Cath Lab Technologist will report to the Director of the Cardiovascular Lab.
