Cath Lab Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. This role involves providing essential support within the cardiac catheterization lab, assisting with various patient care processes, and ensuring the smooth operation of the lab.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and monitoring duties in the catheterization lab.
• Assist in the preparation, transport, and recovery of patients.
• Prepare and stock the department with necessary supplies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Monitor patient cases as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensure required to work as a Cath Lab Technologist.
• RCIS certificate or RT degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Unit Information

• Facility Department: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Number of Openings: 1
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
• Weekend Hours: As needed if called back in.
• Required Certifications: BLS, RT
• Patient Population: Serves patients of all ages.
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Catheterizations, pacemakers, permacaths, ports, vascular cases.

Additional Information
