Physical Therapist (PT)

Job Summary

A dynamic opportunity for a Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitation services within an inpatient setting. The role focuses on delivering quality care to patients recovering from various conditions while adhering to established protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility and functionality.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options and home exercise programs.

Work Schedule

The position operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional early morning starts for activities of daily living (ADLs) and one Saturday each month.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in physical therapy, preferably in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Cerner.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Dress Code

Employees are required to wear grey scrub tops and black scrub bottoms.

Additional Information

This position does not require floating to other units within the facility, allowing for focused patient care and consistent team dynamics.
