Therapist: IP Psych

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated therapist with expertise in inpatient psychotherapy. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services utilizing evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and facilitation of process groups. This role involves working with an adult patient population in a collaborative and clinical setting.

Position Details:

• Department: Inpatient
• Role: LCSW/LICSW/LMHC
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • HWC (Health and Wellness Coach)
  • LCSW/LICSW/LMHC
  • Massachusetts State License
• Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years in a clinical setting

Unit Information:

• Bed Capacity:
  • Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP): 10 beds
  • Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): 10 beds
• Patient Ratios: Up to 1:10
• EHR System: Cerner

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychotherapeutic assessments and treatment planning.
• Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions.
• Implement discharge planning in collaboration with the care team.
• Assess client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in group therapy.
• Familiarity with common diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation.
• Flexible and professional personality.

Education Requirements:

• Must possess a Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
