Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team. This position is focused on helping individuals regain their independence and enhance their quality of life after injury or illness.

Position Information

• Department: Rehabilitation
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: Once a month
• Call Requirements: N/A

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Education: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Certifications: Required PT certification.

Required Skills

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or inpatient rehabilitation settings.

Patient Population

The primary patient population includes individuals recovering from various conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injuries, mobility impairments, and orthopedic injuries.

Work Environment

The rehabilitation unit has 40 beds, allowing for a comprehensive and supportive environment for both patients and staff. The use of advanced electronic health records (EHR) systems, such as EPIC and Rehab Connect, is part of the operational framework.

Team Dynamics

The ideal candidate will be cooperative and demonstrate a strong desire to be a team player, contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team approach in patient care.

• Scrub Color: Black scrubs
• Reporting Time: 7:30 AM – 8:00 AM
• Point of Contact: Sumedha Kukreja
• Parking: Available at the rear of the building.
