ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Information

We are seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses to join our dynamic team in a high-acuity environment.

• Specialty: ICU
• Number of Openings: 2
• Shift: Nights, 3×12, 1900-0730
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: As required by the facility
• Call Requirements: Stand by for low census, 1 hour to report

Required Certifications

• BLS and ACLS from AHA only
• PALS
• TNCC

Preferred Certifications

• NIHSS

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years in a high acuity ICU
• Ability to titrate complex intravenous infusions, including vasopressors

Preferred Skillset/Experience

• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center with the ability to care for complex patients, including medical, surgical, traumas, and strokes.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 24
• Patient Ratios: Typically 1:2, may vary between 1:1 and 1:3 depending on patient acuity and staffing.
• Equipment: IV pumps, chest tubes, GE monitoring, Artic Sun, glucometers, feeding pumps, etc.
• EMR: EPIC

Dress Code

• Scrub Color: Black
• Unacceptable Attire: Scrubs in any color other than black, t-shirts, or sweatshirts not approved.
