We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Acute Travel RN Diabetes Educator to join our team. This role requires a passion for patient education and providing support to individuals managing diabetes. The educator will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to enhance diabetes care and management within various settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized education plans for patients with diabetes.
• Provide education on diabetes management, including insulin administration, nutrition, and lifestyle changes.
• Facilitate support groups and workshops to promote diabetes awareness and management strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement best practices in diabetes care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust education strategies as needed.
• Stay current with diabetes research and innovations to enhance patient education resources.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with valid state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing, with a focus on diabetes education preferred.
• Certification in diabetes education (e.g., BC-ADM, CDE) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.
• Willingness to travel as needed to provide patient education in various locations.
