Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ICU team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on critical care needs and supporting patients during their recovery.

Job Details

• Position Type: RN
• Shift: Nights
• Guaranteed Weekly Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend
• Call Requirements: None

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Experience: 1-2 years in an acute care facility
• Education: Must have relevant nursing education and qualifications

Unit Information

• Patient Ratios: 4:1 on day shift; 5:1 on night shift
• Electronic Health Record: Meditech
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients

Responsibilities

The Acute Care RN will be responsible for:

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU setting
• Monitoring patient conditions and vital signs
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
• Documenting patient information accurately and in a timely manner

• Float Requirements: May be required to float within a 25-mile radius
• Dress Code: Scrubs are required; specific color codes may apply
