Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN): PCU

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role involves providing high-quality patient care to individuals with acute medical conditions while working the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients’ health status, including vital signs and laboratory results.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and care expectations.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Respond to patient needs promptly and effectively while ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
• Experience in Progressive Care or Telemetry preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
