Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN): PCU

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Acute Travel Registered Nurse to provide care in a progressive care unit (PCU). This role involves working night shifts and is critical for delivering quality patient care during evening hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, providing comprehensive care in the PCU.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management and postoperative care.
• Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in acute care or progressive care environments.
• Active registered nursing license in the applicable state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Schedule

This position requires night shift coverage. Flexibility in scheduling is essential to meet the needs of the unit and patient population.
