Operating Room Circulator

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Circulator to join our surgical team. This role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and strong leadership skills to provide exceptional care to patients in the operating room.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Operating Room Technicians, and other personnel to deliver patient care in alignment with the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards.
• Ensure the availability of surgical supplies and the timeliness of surgical cases.
• Communicate effectively with patients’ families and provide updates on surgical procedures.
• Maintain and update physician preference cards as necessary.
• Scrub in and assist physicians during surgical cases as required.
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care in the operating room.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operating Room Circulator.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS (AHA or American Red Cross).
• Experience with robotic surgical systems is preferred.
