The Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in the Medical-Surgical department, responsible for providing comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment.

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every Other/As Needed
• Call Requirements: As Needed
• Patient Ratios: Up to 1:6 with PCA assistance
• EHR: MediTech
• Supervisor: Med Surg Director
• Number of Beds: 57

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR system.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Must hold valid RN licensure in the state.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI/HWC/MAB.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required.
• Floating Requirements: Potential to float to similar units as needed.

This role serves a diverse patient population, including individuals of all ages, predominantly focusing on conditions such as COPD, post-operative joints, and diabetes management.
