Travel: Registered Nurse (RN) / Emergency Department

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. This travel position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing critical care to patients in need.

Job Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: MIDS 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and clinical status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document all patient interactions and care in accordance with facility policies.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a current state license.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS.
• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Must have a permanent address at least 50 miles away from the facility.

Additional Information

• Position may require floating to other units as needed.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred.
• Dress code and scrub colors will be provided upon hiring.
• Parking details will be communicated during the onboarding process.
