• Number of Beds: 17
• Patient Ratios: Maximum 1:6
• Equipment: Various medical equipment as needed
• EHR System: Paragon

Patient Population

This unit primarily cares for adults aged 18 and older, with a significant portion of the patient population being 65 years and older.

Experience and Qualifications

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant nursing role
• Must Have Skills: Proficient in PICC/CVC management and wound care
• Float Requirements: May be required to float between facilities based on Med-Surg or equivalent nursing experience

Additional Information

This unit emphasizes teamwork and collaboration, providing inpatient, observation, and swing bed services. The facility offers a strong presence of physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, respiratory therapy, and 24-hour provider coverage, along with laboratory and imaging services.

Dress Code

Scrubs are required. Specific color guidelines will be provided by the supervisor.
