Travel Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week assignment. The position requires night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with every other weekend and holiday availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in both Med Surg and Telemetry departments.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and respond promptly to any changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize Cerner for patient charting and documentation.
• Assist with patient assessments and care planning.
• Float between Med Surg and Tele departments as required.

Requirements

• Recent experience in an acute care setting is required.
• Current BLS certification is mandatory.
• Experience with remote telemetry monitoring of Med Surg patients.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Completion of at least 2 travel nursing assignments is necessary.
