Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg/Post Partum combined unit. This position requires a professional who is comfortable working with a diverse patient population, providing care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Shift: Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med Surg and Post Partum units.
• Monitor patient progress and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and care options.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg RN experience is required.
• NRP certification is also required, but can be obtained prior to the start date if not currently held.
• Ability to work effectively in a combined Med Surg/Post Partum unit.
