Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)

Job Description

This position is a Temp to Hire opportunity for Medical Assistants with a certification in an outpatient clinic setting. The role requires a professional and adaptable individual who can float between multiple clinic locations, providing support where needed.

Schedule

• Shifts: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (08:00 – 17:00)
• No weekend or holiday shifts required

Responsibilities

• Float between various outpatient clinics in the Seattle area.
• Address same-day staffing needs by providing dedicated support across multiple regions.
• Receive daily scheduling notifications between 6:00 and 6:30 AM via text message.
• Participate in a 4 to 5-week orientation program with a preceptor.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid certification as a Medical Assistant (MA-C); registration or other certifications are not accepted.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in an adult or pediatric outpatient clinic is required.
• Experience in General/Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics is essential.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel between clinic locations.
• Experience with EPIC charting is required.

Additional Information

This role will involve working in various outpatient clinics across the Seattle/Puget Sound area, including Central, North, and East regions. A high volume of staffing needs is anticipated, especially during peak seasons.
