Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality care and support to patients during labor and postpartum experiences, ensuring both maternal and neonatal health.

Shift Details

• Shift: Night shifts (3×12 hours)
• Orientation: 36 hours

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients and their newborns.
• Monitor and assess patients’ health status and respond to their needs.
• Assist in the delivery process, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on postnatal care and wellness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery required.
• Certifications Required:
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • AWHONN Intermediate (Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Preferred Certification: AWHONN Advanced
• Ability to float between like units as needed.

Additional Information

• RTO restrictions must be included at the time of submission.
• Guaranteed hours may include call-offs once per two-week pay period.
• Registration or licensing requirements must be met; pending licenses will not be accepted.
