Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry to join our float team. The ideal candidate will have experience in charge roles and cardiac step-down units, although this is not mandatory.

Position Details

This position involves working as a float nurse with responsibilities across various units, including ER boarded patients, telemetry, and med-surg. The nurse-to-patient ratio will vary from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on unit acuity. This role requires flexibility and a commitment to meeting the diverse needs within the institution.

Schedule

• Shift: Day 4×12-Hour (07:00 – 19:30)
• Start: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients across multiple units.
• Assist in managing staffing needs, bed flow, and coordination of patient care on smaller units.
• Perform charge nurse duties as needed, especially in smaller units where the RN operates as the sole charge nurse.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with experience in the United States.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
• Cardiac step-down experience is ideal, but not required.
• Ability to adapt quickly to various patient populations and unit needs.
