Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team. This position involves providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns in a supportive and professional environment.

Shift Details

• 3×12 Hour Shifts (Day or Night)
• Weekend Requirement: Yes

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery
• Certifications Required:
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • AWHONN Intermediate Certification
• Local candidates accepted: No – Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Pending License: Not accepted

Job Expectations

• The clinician will float within their scope to meet facility needs.
• Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks (traveler may be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks)
• RTO restrictions will be based on request.

• Trauma Level: Level IV Trauma, Critical Access Hospital
• Total Staffed Beds: 46 Acute Care, 22 Long Term Care
• Charting System: Epic

Housing and Vehicle Information

The facility provides housing for travelers during assignments. Housing units generally are:

• 1-bedroom apartments
• Available for move-in not earlier than 72 hours before assignment starts and not longer than 24 hours after assignment ends
• Pets are not allowed
• Additional family members may need special approval to stay
• Housing unit must be cleaned upon departure to avoid additional cleaning fees
