Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in high-risk obstetric patients and postpartum care utilizing magnesium sulfate. This position involves working in a postpartum and mother-baby care unit, providing essential support to new mothers and their infants.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive postpartum care for mothers and infants.
Monitor patients who have received magnesium sulfate for postpartum management.
Assist with lactation, infant feeding, and other newborn care activities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Float between labor and delivery units and NICU as needed, primarily for recovery and support roles.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in obstetric nursing is required.
Current certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) are mandatory.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Floating between units will be required based on competency.

Work Environment

This role is set in an acute care hospital recognized as a Magnet facility, with a total of 377 staffed beds. Nurses will be expected to adhere to a ratio of 1:4, ensuring focused and personalized patient care.
