Registered Nurse (RN) – Postpartum / Mother-Baby Care

Overview

Join a dedicated nursing team specializing in the care of high-risk obstetric patients and postpartum care utilizing magnesium sulfate. This opportunity is designed for skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) focused on providing exceptional mother-baby couplet care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to postpartum patients and infants, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Monitor patient health and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist with feedings, soothing, and changing babies as directed in the NICU.
• Perform necessary assessments and interventions in the L&D unit during recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a relevant specialty.
• Current certifications required:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Strong ability to float between units, providing care as needed.

Work Details

• Ratios: 1:4 patient-to-nurse ratio.
• Shift: Night shifts, 3×12 hours (19:00 – 07:30).
• No block schedules available.
• Free parking is provided for all staff.
• Charting System: Epic.
