Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long-Term Care/Special Needs Facility. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care, support residents in their daily activities, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including the administration of medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, documenting critical information and changes.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to develop and modify care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and lifestyle adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
• Lead and collaborate with nursing staff to foster a cohesive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Additional Information

The position requires a commitment to working on holidays and weekends. The standard shift is from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week in a 12-hour shift format.
