Pharmacist

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Retail Pharmacist to join our team. This position is essential for ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications and providing outstanding patient care.

Job Details

• Shift Length: 10 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shifts:
  • Monday – Friday: 0745 – 1915
  • Saturday: 0800 – 1715

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and in compliance with regulations.
• Provide information to patients regarding their medications, including dosages and potential side effects.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient health and progress to ensure safe and effective medication therapy.
• Maintain accurate medication inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals.

Qualifications

• Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year
• Required Certification: BLS Certification

Additional Information

The Retail Pharmacist will primarily work in the outpatient pharmacy but may be required to float to nearby locations based on coverage needs. Scheduling will be done in advance for a couple of weeks at a time, and we are looking for candidates who are willing to commit for 13 weeks or longer.
