Registered Dietitian

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our team in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and personalized treatment to individuals recovering from severe injuries or illnesses. Our facility specializes in a range of rehabilitation programs tailored to support patients on their recovery journey.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans for patients based on their specific needs and recovery goals.
• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and monitor patient progress throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care and improve health outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on nutritional practices that support recovery and overall wellbeing.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions to enhance team communication and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from the appropriate certifying body.
• Experience in a rehabilitation or clinical setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Work Schedule:

This position primarily operates during the day, with a weekly guaranteed hour commitment.
