Infusion Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in chemotherapy administration and infusion therapy for our healthcare facility. This role involves providing essential support to patients with various diagnoses, primarily focusing on non-chemotherapy patient populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer IV therapy and infusions, including but not limited to Reclast/Zometa, Zoladex, Lupron, and Faslodex injections.
• Perform phlebotomy and port flushes as required.
• Conduct iron infusions, which will account for the majority of the workload.
• Administer occasional hydration treatments.
• Participate in rare genetic testing and liquid biopsy procedures.

Qualifications

• Current CRNI certification is required.
• 1 year of nursing experience is required, with inpatient or outpatient oncology experience preferred.
• Experience caring for patients undergoing chemotherapy is highly preferred.
• Ability to handle patient reactions and complexities that may arise during treatment.

Work Schedule

This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, with no on-call requirements. Occasional overtime may be necessary to address patient needs.
