Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing high-quality care to laboring patients and managing high acuity situations.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts
• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend and holidays as needed

Unit Information

You will be working in an 18-bed unit, where you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care during labor and delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for laboring patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions
• Administer medications and interventions as necessary
• Support patients and families through the labor process
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and charting

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Open to first-time travelers
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required
• AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred
• Experience with Triton and SurgiCount technologies is a plus

Floating Requirements

Floating to multiple locations, including MAU, MBU, and OBSC, may be required.
