Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Labor and Delivery to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience and be capable of providing exceptional care to expectant mothers and their newborns.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Assist in the delivery process and support mothers during labor.
• Administer medications and perform IV starts as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record.
• May be required to float to different units as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP are required.
• Experience with IV starts is essential.
• Proficient in using EPIC electronic health record system.
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.

Schedule

This position offers a night schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.
