Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to high-risk infants in a state-of-the-art level III NICU.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to neonates, with a focus on very low birth weight premature infants requiring ventilatory support.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, responding promptly to changes in health status.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Support families and provide education related to the care and progress of the neonates.
• Ensure the highest standards of care in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a permanent NICU RN, with at least 3 years of experience in a level III teaching hospital.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including 2 weekend shifts per month.
• Experience in floating to related units, such as Mother/Baby, to provide care exclusively for infants.

Work Environment

This position is located in a modern 54-bed level III NICU that serves as a regional referral center for high-risk infants. The unit is equipped to handle complex cases and is dedicated to advancing neonatal care.

Additional Information

• Shift: Day shift, 4×12 hours (07:00 – 19:30)
• Floating within the hospital to related units is required.
• Not open to block scheduling or new graduate applications.
• Parking fees apply.
