Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role is critical in providing high-quality patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Utilize strong IV skills to provide patient care and support procedures.

Qualifications

• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required (AHA certified).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Must possess strong IV skills.
• Ability to self-schedule weekday call shifts and weekend coverage as needed.
• No floating to different departments or units is required.

Miscellaneous Information

• This position includes a one-week orientation on the floor.
• Required attire includes navy blue pants and solid navy-blue tops or solid white tops, with jackets in solid navy blue or white.
• Workload: Approximately 75% outpatient and 25% inpatient responsibilities.
• EMR systems utilized include EPIC and EndoWorks.

Scheduling

This role includes weekend shift coverage, and on-call requirements will be managed accordingly. There will be scheduled hours each week to ensure the delivery of quality care.
