Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatrics

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Pediatrics to join our dynamic team. This role requires providing quality nursing care to pediatric patients and their families, ensuring a positive and supportive environment for both patients and staff.

Shift Notes

• Shift: 7p – 7:30a
• 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed
• Flexibility to float to similar units or other locations as needed
• Potential for one shift cancellation per week

Weekend and On-Call Requirements

Weekend and on-call requirements will be determined by the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of Pediatric Oncology experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months
• Life support certifications must be from an accredited organization (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
• No disciplinary actions on state nursing license
• Active state license required at the time of submission
• APHON certification is mandatory
• Current BLS certification is required
• Travel nursing experience is highly preferred

Additional Information

Candidates must be flexible with locations, shifts, and departments to expedite the hiring process. All candidates should be prepared to begin work on the listed start date or no later than one week after.

Please note that requests for time off cannot exceed 7 days and cannot be made during the first week of the assignment.
