Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses to join our team for a period of 13 or 14 weeks. Candidates must have a strong background in ER nursing, with at least 2 years of experience, though 4 years is preferred. Ideal candidates will be able to hit the ground running and demonstrate proficiency in emergency care.

Shift Details

• Available Shifts: 3pm or 7pm
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Rotation: Yes
• Holiday Rotation: Yes

Requirements

• Active Kansas RN license or multistate license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (must be through AHA)
• MOAB or CPI certification required
• Additional certifications: TNCC, NIHSS
• Strong ER experience (2 years minimum, 4 years ideal)
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred

Additional Information

Candidates must maintain a minimum of 5 days of requested time off during the assignment, with only one holiday considered. There is a 3-strike call-in policy in place.

Unit Overview

This position is set within a 34-bed emergency department that serves as a level 2 trauma center. There are no set patient ratios for this unit. Staff members will be required to wear black scrubs.

All certifications and licenses must be provided at the time of submission. Candidates with any violations on their licenses or backgrounds will not be considered.
