School Social Worker

Position Overview

We have a full-time vacancy for a qualified School Social Worker to provide essential mental health services to students. This role primarily focuses on supporting students with mild to moderate needs, affective needs, and significant support needs as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide mental health services to students with diverse needs, including those with IEPs.
• Collaborate with special education staff and other professionals to develop and implement effective service plans.
• Conduct assessments and provide counseling to students in need of support.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of behavioral intervention plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on student needs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation of services provided.
• Engage with families and community resources to support student well-being.

Qualifications

• Mental health license or endorsement required (CDE Required In Hand).
• Experience working with students with special education needs, particularly in a school setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage a diverse caseload.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring a commitment to in-person services. The work shift is generally from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, five days a week.
