Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position in the Medical/Surgical department. This role is primarily focused on providing high-quality care to neuro-surgical patients in an acute care setting. The RN will work closely with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Shift Information

• Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Work Hours: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours guaranteed
• Weekend Requirement: As needed
• Call Requirements: None

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: To be determined
• Patient Ratios: 1:5-6
• Equipment: FIT test is required on-site
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: EPIC

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year of inpatient acute care experience in Neurosurgery and Neuro
• Float Requirements: May be required as needed within scope

Additional Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse must be willing to take on occasional charge nurse duties as required.
