Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at a state-of-the-art acute rehabilitation facility committed to helping individuals recover from severe injuries and illnesses.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will provide essential care and support to patients during their recovery journey. This role involves working closely with a diverse patient population, primarily individuals aged 16 years and older, who are undergoing rehabilitation for various conditions including stroke, brain injury, neurological disorders, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities and personal care tasks
• Monitor patients’ health and report any changes to nursing staff
• Help maintain a safe and clean environment
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement and modify patient care plans
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during their rehabilitation

Position Details

• Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Patient Ratios: 1 CNA to 7 patients
• Required Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support)
• First Day Instructions:
  • Scrub Color: Gray for CNAs
  • Time to Report: 6:45 AM
  • Contact: Charge Nurse upon arrival
  • Parking: Available in the lot (not marked visitor)

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred
• Education: Completion of a CNA program
• Preferred Skills: Experience in rehabilitation settings
