Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients recovering from serious injuries or illnesses, ensuring they receive the support needed during their rehabilitation journey.

Position Overview

• Department: Chronic 1
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Required Certifications: BLS
• Patient Ratios: 1:7
• Patient Population: 16 years and older

Job Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and eating.
• Provide compassionate support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation process.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Experience in rehabilitation settings.
• Personality Fit: Compassionate, patient-focused, and team-oriented.
• Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Time to Report: 6:45 AM
• Who to Ask for Upon Arrival: Charge Nurse
• Parking: Available in any non-visitor marked area of the parking lot.
