Registered Nurse (RN) / Stepdown

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Stepdown unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care settings and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient conditions.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to plan and implement patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards.

Requirements

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
• Completion of Advanced Learning Center modules.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Ability to handle a patient ratio of 5 to 1.

Additional Information

Scrub color is royal blue, with options for white, royal blue, or black t-shirts underneath scrub tops. Candidates must be located more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.
