Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on patients with intermediate acuity needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and assessing patient conditions.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills in an acute care setting, including IV starts and telemetry management.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Float between units within the equivalent or lower level of acuity as required.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and needs using electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring is essential.
• Experience with electronic health record systems, specifically Epic, is required.

Work Schedule

The position requires night shifts, specifically three 12-hour shifts weekly. Flexibility is required to accommodate rotating holidays and potential weekend shifts.

Parking Options

Various parking permits are available, including monthly options with 24/7 access. Annual permits require upfront payment and are not available as monthly permits. Refunds may be available for unused months on annual permits according to the specific guidelines.
