Physical Therapist (PT) Acute Care Hospital

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in a dynamic acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care settings, with a preference for those with inpatient rehabilitation (IPR) experience. This position requires a strong team player who is self-directed and has a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients in an acute care setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on therapy goals and home exercise programs.
• Document patient care in compliance with facility policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State Physical Therapist license is required.
• Acute care experience is essential; inpatient rehabilitation experience is a plus.
• Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Exhibit self-direction and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Work Schedule

• Day shifts available: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (08:00 – 16:00).
• Weekend work may be required occasionally to cover staffing needs.
• Floating between units may occur as needed.
