Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac cases and possess the necessary certifications to perform a variety of critical duties in the cardiac catheterization lab.

Key Responsibilities

• Control the C-arm during procedures and assist physicians during interventions.
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with the medical team to provide exceptional patient care.
• Maintain and operate hemodynamic monitoring equipment and EMR systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology.
• Active ARRT and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with Merge and Cerner EMR systems is preferred.
• Ability to manage cases involving various cardiac conditions, including STEMI, NSTEMI, and others.

Unit Information

The Cath Lab consists of 3 dedicated catheterization rooms and 1 hybrid operating room, handling an average of 13-26 cases per day. The environment is fast-paced and requires team members to be adaptable and efficient.

Shift & Scheduling

• Standard shift length is 10 hours.
• Staff are expected to cover calls and complete rotating weekend duties.
• One night call shift per week and one weekend call approximately every four weeks.

Additional Information

New team members will undergo a comprehensive orientation, including 1-2 days of general orientation followed by 2 days focused on unit-specific training.

OR scrubs will be provided by the facility, and there are no floating requirements between units.
