Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment with rapid patient turnover.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room.
• Assist with trauma cases and manage multiple patients simultaneously.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment and technology to monitor patient health.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Unit Information

The Emergency Room comprises a 28-bed department, featuring:

• 4 trauma bays
• 2 behavioral health rooms
• 22 cardiac monitor rooms

Schedule

This position requires working three 12-hour night shifts per week (36 hours weekly), following an initial week of orientation. Please note that there is no guarantee of hours.

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license in Hawaii is required prior to the start of the assignment.
• Prior experience in an emergency room setting is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information

Candidates must arrive the Thursday before their start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday. Please ensure you can meet this timeline before accepting the position.
