Registered Nurse (RN)

Join a dedicated team providing high-quality care to older adults in a long-term care environment. This role involves delivering direct patient care, conducting assessments, maintaining documentation, and implementing the nursing plan of care. You will oversee LPN and CNA colleagues while also administering medications.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to residents, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and record vital information.
• Implement and monitor the nursing plan of care for each resident.
• Supervise and support LPN and CNA staff in their duties.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills in all interactions.
• Show flexibility and strong delegation abilities in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a long-term care setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA required.
• Experience with telemetry preferred.
