Cath Lab Technologist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the preparation and assistance during various cardiac and interventional procedures. This position requires a strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in various catheterization procedures, including RHC, LHC, PCI, EP, Rotablator, and Peripheral interventions.
• Prepare and maintain necessary equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
• Collaborate effectively with the medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and procedures accurately in the EMR system (Cerner).

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• CA RAD & Fluoro certification is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Cath Lab/IR Technologist.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.

Schedule and Call Requirements

• Shifts: 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week.
• Weekend Requirement: On-call basis (1-2 weekends per month).
• Call Response Time: 30 minutes.
• Holiday Requirement: One holiday required annually.
