NICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced NICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Level III or IV NICU, including high-risk delivery experience and proficiency with ventilators. We do consider candidates with 2 years of experience, provided they demonstrate a strong skill set.

Contract Details

• Start Date: 11/30 – HARD START, NO EXCEPTIONS
• Contract Length: 15 weeks
• Shift: Night shifts (3×12 hours, 19:00 – 07:30)
• Unit Census: Average of 10 patients
• Bed Capacity: 23 beds
• Patient Ratios: 1 nurse for every 3 patients
• Weekend Shifts: 4 shifts (Friday/Saturday)
• Scrubs Required: Royal Blue

Patient Population

The primary focus will be on neonatal patients requiring specialized care in a high-acuity environment.

Required Skills and Certifications

• Experience with ventilators
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
• STABLE Certification

Additional Requirements

• Must be willing to float to other areas as needed.
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be included in the application and cannot be modified once submitted.
• No RTO is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment.
