X-Ray Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our radiology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in imaging techniques and experience in various settings. This position requires the ability to float across multiple locations as needed and perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging exams.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 4×10 hours
• Shift Time: 7:30 PM – 6:00 AM
• Days: Sunday – Wednesday

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray imaging examinations on patients across multiple departments, including emergency, outpatient, and inpatient settings.
• Utilize various imaging equipment, including PACS, portables, C-Arms, and GE OEC for procedures.
• Conduct fluoroscopy procedures, such as lumbar punctures, myelograms, and swallowing studies.
• Assist in performing imaging for procedures in the operating room and endoscopy, including ORIFs and ERCPs.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
• Respond promptly to imaging requests and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiology; 2 years preferred.
• BLS and ARRT certification required.
• Experience with PACS, portables, C-arm, and contrast procedures is required.
• Familiarity with EPIC systems required; Interlad experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Additional Information

This role involves a high volume of exams, with between 250-300 examinations performed daily. Candidates should be prepared to float as necessary throughout various facilities within the region. Fluoroscopy and operating room experience are mandatory.
